International Trade in Chemical Raw Materials / Head Office Vienna

  • In close cooperation with the founder and CEO, you will initially take over the management and P&L responsibility for the group’s operational business units (sales, product management and logistics); assuming responsibility for internal services including finances will follow at a later stage.
  • You will further develop our business model’s strategy in order to leverage the potential of our services even more. Together with the extended management team, you will shape the company’s organic development, accompanied by strengthening the personnel structure and establishing additional branches outside Europe.
  • You will represent the company towards important suppliers and customers, as well as at relevant trade fairs and conferences. Increasing our market share is a priority target in cooperation with both, the producers we currently represent (“principals”) and new manufacturing partners and products.
  • You will identify opportunities for improvement in our processes and ensure they are implemented. Your leadership style will create an incentive for continuous development among managers and employees.

  • You have already been successful for several years in a strategic management position as head of a business unit or as managing director of a medium-sized trading company.
  • You have experience in trading of any kind of raw materials, which is a requirement, experience with chemical raw materials is an advantage.
  • You have the gift to develop pioneering concepts based on careful analysis and to manage their implementation quickly.
  • You have strong leadership skills and have successfully managed qualified sales staff directly. You use modern IT tools.
  • As a sales person, you are fascinated by business. Your clever negotiating skills make you the “top seller” of our services, to the chemical producers we represent worldwide as well as to major international customers.
  • You have an awareness of cost-benefit assessment and rational, smoothrunning processes, you have a sound judgement and implement what is feasible.
  • Very good English is required, other language skills are an advantage.
