About the position:

The Head of the Central Delivery Office (CDO) is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of strategic, cross-functional initiatives within group.one that directly enable the company's top-level objectives.

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the Central Delivery Office's vision and operating model, aligned with corporate OKRs and transformation goals.

• Partner with executives to translate strategic intent into actionable delivery plans.

Portfolio and Program Oversight

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of high-impact initiatives to ensure delivery of business-critical outcomes.

• Lead portfolio reviews to monitor progress, manage trade-offs, and maintain focus on priority objectives.

Operational Excellence

• Standardize delivery frameworks, tools, and governance to enhance execution speed, quality, and transparency.

• Drive data-driven performance management to ensure accountability, milestone adherence, and continuous improvement.

People Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead, mentor, and develop senior project and program managers to build organizational delivery capability

• Partner with stakeholders to align on scope, expectations, and resolve critical delivery issues impacting strategic goals.

• 7+ years of experience in program/portfolio management, with at least 3 in a senior leadership role.
• Proven success in delivering complex, enterprise-wide initiatives tied to strategic objectives.
• Demonstrated experience in setting up or scaling a PMO/CDO or similar strategic delivery function.
• PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong portfolio governance, OKR alignment, and delivery framework expertise.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Track record of driving tangible business outcomes through disciplined delivery.

Salary:

The minimum annual gross salary for this position is € 80.000,-- (incl. an overtime allowance of 20 hours) for 38.5 hours/week. Actual compensation can be above this, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
